Walkrounds Resume

Throughout the growing season, Choice Places normally carries out three open walkrounds of our estates to which we invite the local homeowners. These inspections are attended by Choice Places staff and our hard and soft landscaping contractors. There is also a representative from Atrium Homes, while representatives from East Ayrshire Council and local community council members are invited to join us. The purpose of these walkabouts is to identify any issues, present or hear ideas, create a future plan for works, check work has been carried out to the correct standard and solve any immediate issues.

Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we had to suspend these accompanied walkrounds over the last 18 months and carry them out unaccompanied. We're delighted to announce that we are about to recommence joint inspections and invite you to join us on the following dates:

Shortlees Tuesday 5th October at 9.30AM Meeting point - Atrium Office, 14 Central Avenue,Shortlees

Moorfield Tuesday 5th October at 11.00AM Meeting point - Bus stop/post office box, Dumfries Drive, Moorfield

New Farm Loch Tuesday 12th October at 9.30AM Meeting point - Ritchie Court car park, New Farm Loch

Nether Robertland Tuesday 19th October at 9.30AM Meeting point Meikle Court, Nether Robertland

If you'd like to join us simply meet at the relevant location.

Public Holiday

Annual Invoicing

Annual invoices for financial year 2020/21 have been prepared and should be posted this week, to arrive on doormats from 20 July. Further information on charges and payment methods will be included with the invoice.

Our own estate inspections have started again, so you may see Choice Places staff in the estates.

Public Estate Walkabouts

Due to the current Covid-19 crisis, the public estate walkabouts scheduled to take place in July have been cancelled. Staff will however recommence estate inspections from week commencing 13th July 2020.

If you were planning to attend, to ask about estate maintenance, bulk waste etc, you can forward any questions or comments to us. Staff are currently working remotely and can still be contacted during 10 - 3 daily.

Revised times for telephone contact

In light of the ongoing lockdown, we are making some further changes to our frontline services. From Tuesday 21 April 2020, our phone lines will be manned between 10am and 3.00pm, Monday to Friday to allow customers to contact us. We are making these changes because of a marked reduction in calls coming into the office overall.

We still have the vast majority of our staff team working from home. By focussing calls coming in, we can make best use of our available staff.

Aside from contact by phone, we are still available via email (info@choice-places.co.uk ) or by using our website contact form (https://www.choice-places.co.uk/contact/). We will respond as quickly as we can.
