Paying your Invoice

On an annual basis Choice Places will issue an invoice for the estimated cost of open area maintenance for the forthcoming year 1 April to 31 March. This is based on predicted costs for the year and includes any unpaid sums from previous years.

Payment of Invoice

Your invoice should be settled in full within 21 days of the date of issue. All payment options can be found on your invoice but are :

  • DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS can be used to pay by phone by calling 01563 557 000.

  • CHEQUE By cheque payable to Choice Places. Please quote your account number or address on the reverse of your cheque and enclose the invoice slip with your payment to ensure the payment is credited to you.

  • DIRECT DEBIT To set up or amend a direct debit you can call the office on 01563 557000 with your bank details which can be taken over the phone. You will then receive a confirmation letter from our direct debit provider, allpay.net, within 7 days. If you already have a Direct Debit set up no further action is required as payments will be adjusted accordingly. If you have a balance on your account this will be added to the sum billed and split evenly over the 12 months in line with your agreed frequency of payments (i.e. monthly, quarterly etc.).

  • BACS Sort code 09-01-50 account number 04685423 – please ensure your account number is quoted so that the payment is assigned to you.

  • CHOICE PLACES - Pay through the Choice Places myPlace portal. The portal has its own app which is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It’s available on the App Store and Play Store – just type in myPlace from Choice Places to download it.

Payment of this invoice in full within 21 days from date of invoice will result in a credit adjustment being applied to your account. Please note that we do not accept cash payments.

Customers who have a Direct Debit already in place do not need to take any further action. Your Direct Debit payments will be reviewed against your new balance and adjusted accordingly. You will receive separate correspondence from Allpay in relation to this, which will inform you of any changes made to your payment. If you do not currently pay by Direct Debit and you wish to do so, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure you avoid any late payment charges. You must also contact us if you wish to set up any payment by instalments.

Failure to clear the balance or make a payment arrangement within 21 days will result in a reminder letter being issued. The invoice and issue of the first reminder are dealt with as part of the ongoing service and will mean that within the first month accounts should be settled. Action required after this stage is classed as debt recovery and as appropriate will incur additional charges.

As an agent acting for all owners, we have a responsibility to take action against non-payers, so failure to pay can lead to legal action to recover the debts. You need to be aware that if legal action is taken , it will include an action to recover all legal costs, over and above the cost of the initial bill ie you may end up having to pay more than the amount originally invoiced for.
